woes are pissing me off! I am sick of Freddy. We should have probably traded him. He better turn it around along with the rest of the starting staff!

Freddy hasn't been the "problem" in his last like 4 starts. They'll turn it around. This team is too good not to.

I've been a Mariners fan my whole life and I too I'm getting sick of their sketcky play. If only the Mariners would have made a trade to get rid of Garcia, Franklin, or Cirrilo, maybe they would be in better shape. It doesn't help stupid Gillick traded away one of our best pitchers in Nelson for stinking Armando Benitez. That was just a sad trade. Right up there with all the other brillent Mariner trade lately. Like Lowe and Varitek for Heathcliff Slocumb and Cruz Jr. for Paul Spoljaric and Mike Timlin. I hope the M's can at least make the wildcard, and maybe get lucky with the Yankees in the playoffs. It's gonna be wild the next two months.

The Lowe-Varitek trade and the Timlin trade were not part of Pat Gillick's tenure here in Seattle. So you can't really blame him for those bad moves, only the moves that he hasn't done yet.

I wonder if this is the beginning of a a big fade down the stretch, very similar to what happened with them last year.

There is a part of me that thinks their veterans will be enough to prevent them from collapsing, but also another part that tells me that their key players aren't getting any younger, and age could play a part if they fade away again.

They are going to have to squeeze every last drop out of their pitching if they want to be in it at the end. It should be a great final month of the season.
