Actually, I kind of like it. I don't particularly like the one they've had for the past 2 to 3 years.
Speaking of ugly uniforms over the years:
The San Diego Padres have always taken the cake with their UGLY unis over the years. They're either goofy (yellow shirts with brown sleeves/pants circa 1977), or really bland (gray/brown road pinstripes from 85-89). Never understood the road pinstripe concept.My favs (Pads) were the home pinstripes from 1991 to 2000. What was wrong with those?
I agree with the classic unis. Certain teams stay with the same unis and that's pretty good. Of course, all are big market teams that don't need to increase revenue through new designs (that's another topic, though)
The Phillies road unis from the mid 70's thru the mid 80's were God-awful!Comment
