so, what did you think about the crosstown migration of Josh Paul? I know Olivo is the man, but I didn;t think the ChiSox would get rid of Paul.

I was dissapointed to see Josh leave...but we have another young kid named Jamie Burke who is coming up..

I assume that this will be Sandy's last year and he will stick around in the organization to help Burke and Olivo..

Was Josh part of the roster expansion? He has a pretty decent bat..and is pretty decent at D...Won't really stand out...but won't really hurt you.

First, let me state what i said to a colleague of mine only moments before the 5th inning of today's game began:
A one run lead with tESTES on the mound is more like a 2 run deficit.

Second, yes, as far as i know Paul was part of the expansion, which makes me wonder why the hell PAUL BAKO was starting today.

Why does everyone want to "dump" Juan Cruz? He is only 24? He has the best stuff of anyone. I'm sorry, not giving up no more than 3 runs in all of his starts isn't good enough. He has gotten screwed by the Cubs' pitiful offense in all of his starts. Cruz is a going to be a stud.

The problem is Baker not Cruz. Baker puts Cruz in as a reliever, he does poorly; he has Cruz sent to AAA to start where he does well; then, Cruz is brought back up to be a reliever where he does poorly again. If Cruz is doing well as a starter make him a starter. If he's set out to be a reliever for the Cubs then send him down to relieve, not start.

I haven't necessarily given up on Cruz, but I have yet to see him pitch well, save for once last year (i think). Starter or Reliever. I agree runs support is a problem, and that he is young. But after a while of "he's gonna be a stud", you have to wonder. There are alot of "gonna be"s out there. TY WIGGINGTON, BEN GRIEVE, KEVIN MAAS.
Either way, my point was that we should have dumped him for Lowell.
