craziest game in 2010
for me it was when the cardinals and mets went into 20 innings and the mets ended up winning 2-1. But the cardinals used two non pitchers to pitch and a pitcher to play left field.Current careers:

I remember me and a friend were watching that game and were hoping it would keep going to 30 innings."The best thing about being a football player at Alabama...winning...winning." -Mark Barron

Re: craziest game in 2010
That is the one I was thinking of...it was an amazing game. The game that pissed me off to no end was the game late in the year in Colorado where Atlanta led 10-1 and lost 12-10. I was afraid that would cost us the playoffs."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Terrible game. Once again I was at work when we were up 10-1, came home and watched us blow it."The best thing about being a football player at Alabama...winning...winning." -Mark Barron

Re: craziest game in 2010
I'll go ahead and, with the Giants games that I have seen personally, say these three games were of them for me:
Giants [6] vs. Phillies [7] F/11, April 28
Giants [3] @ Rockies [4] F/15, July 4
Giants [11] vs. Reds [12] F/12, August 25
Any San Francisco fan knows these three games very well. The box scores won't tell them all, only if you saw them would you realize all of them were terribly heart-wrenching.
As for others, I was reading OS when that Mets @ Cardinals game was playing and I was driving home from school for the summer when I heard about the Brooks Conrad walk-off grand slam over the radio. That other game with Atlanta and Colorado that was referenced above was the same day as the Giants game versus the Reds I noted, and I watched both of them simultaneously. That was a sad day.
EDIT: Ugh, none of these links will work. Re: craziest game in 2010
Those Giants games were brutal, I remember. Some other crazy games during the year that I remember were some of the ones down the stretch with the Braves battling. Hinske's HRs, bullpen shutting the opposition down, blown leads, comebacks.....craziness.
As for why its censored, I dunno, maybe it's a prominent sequence in spam or malicious script? Who knows.Comment

Re: craziest game in 2010
Galarraga's perfect game. I remember my baseball team had a practice that night and I got home about 8:15. I turned on the game figured it would be the fourth inning or so. It was the 7th. Then I realized he was perfect.
Austin Jackson's catch to start the 9th was the most impressive play I have ever seen. The ground he covered, and under the circumstances, was just amazing. Never seen anything like that. The Tigers broadcasters were going insane, it was just surreal. Then that last night, it was like slow motion. Couldn't believe they missed that call. But in the end I wouldn't have changed it. It was great for baseball. And not many people can say that they have retired 28 straight hitters in one game before.
I've seen the walkoff by Magglio to send Detroit to the World Series, but that catch by Jackson is my favorite moment of Tigers baseball in my life.
And then the next day, The Tigers give him this for his trouble:
Won't ever forget that game. And my Facebook blew up so much too, I had no idea so many people were Tigers fans. Lol.JayElectronicaBluElzhi2PacTheNotoriousB.I.G.ReksSc arfaceFashawnJeruThaDamajaComment

Braves' first game...I had chills.
SpoilerAs a side note, I think Skip was trying to get a cameo on SCEA's game when he called J-Hey's 1st HR. If you don't know what I mean, youtube it.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

The craziest game for me was the only game I went to in person. Buhrle vs. Pavano, double complete game, Twins win. They fit it in between 2 thunderstorms in about 1:48 time. Then I sat in our luxury box for about an hour watching the t-storm over the skyline of downtown Minneapolis.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 01-03-2011, 03:32 PM.Comment
