As much as i hate to say it, probably the Cardinals vs. Rockies where the Rockies scored like 9 runs in the 9th inning.

Rockies had some crazy come from behind wins that were freakin amazing.
The Cardinals game they scored 9 in the 9th, the Braves game they came back to win, not necessarily a come from behind win but the Rockies scored 12 in the 8th inning against the Cubs to win 17-2, but what was amazing is they did all the damage with 2 outs. 11 straight hits, yeah thats right, 11 straight hits.

As a side note, I think Skip was trying to get a cameo on SCEA's game when he called J-Hey's 1st HR. If you don't know what I mean, youtube it.

Unfortunately, Chip calls any flyball within bouncing distance of the warning track with that same orgasmic enthusiasm.


For me, the craziest game would have to be the walk off grand slam by Conrad. I was home early from work, but ended up falling asleep through most of the middle innings, and figured it was a sure loss. Luckily, I woke up just in time to see one of the best 9th inning comebacks that I can remember.

Does anyone remember Chip's call in the 2009 AL Central playoff game? It was a routine flyball to left field and his call was, "Base hit left field!" like he was coming out of his shoes.

for me, the Reds complete breakdown in the 9th inning vs Atlanta
also the Reds' loss of mitts in the 2nd game of the NLDS. up 4-0 then all hell broke loose and lost like 7-4 or something

for me it was when the cardinals and mets went into 20 innings and the mets ended up winning 2-1. But the cardinals used two non pitchers to pitch and a pitcher to play left field.

Easily.

- The Cardinals leave the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th, 12th, and 14th innings, stranding 14 runners in extra innings alone.

- Fourth outfielder Joe Mather pinch-hits for Colby Rasmus in the 10th, plays eight innings in the field at CF and 3B, and eventually takes the loss after pitching two innings of relief.

- In the 18th inning of a 0-0 game, career minor leaguer Raul Valdes, a 32-year-old rookie relief pitcher, comes up to bat with backup SS Felipe Lopez on the mound, gets a hit (!) and then is thrown out trying to stretch it into a double. In the 19th, Valdes bats against a different position player (Mather), and grounds out with the bases loaded.

- Jerry Manuel stubbornly saves Francisco Rodriguez for a save situation, which doesn't occur until the 19th inning (!!), and K-Rod immediately blows the save.

Unreal. I've watched baseball since 1981, and never seen anything quite like it.
