        Lol.. Same with Peter Moylan.

If he wasn't a side armer, I don't think he'd even be physically able to lift his elbow over his shoulder.

Hey, the Padres are first in something! This will probably be the only time they'll be first in anything this season.

The lack of the Florida Marlins makes this a fail list....oh wait nvm this is top 5 not bottom 5

Unless Mo and Soriano are pitching every single day... I do not see how they are in the top 5, let alone number 2.

lol their bullpen is the only thing they have going for them. Scratch that, they have Cameron Maybin now.

Are you sure? We may not have Adrian and we may not be "contenders" like last year, but be ready to place an over bet if the Padres are predicted to win only 70 games again last season.

I wouldn't sleep on the Padres. Some good young arms in the rotation a solid bullpen with a lightsout closer and while they may lack power in the lineup they have some guys who can run the bases and manufacture runs.

I like what the Sox have done with their bullpen. Jenks/Wheeler/Albers with Paplebon/Bard/Okajima/Wakefield make a decent 'pen.

Yeah, I wouldn't count out the Padres just yet. Their pitching is good enough to keep them in most games, even with the lineup they plan on rolling out there next year. Plus, it's not like the NL West is filled with with a bunch of world-beaters.

I see Maybin flourishing with the Padres, mainly due to the park. It's only a matter of time before he makes a serious step in his development soon, sending him down to AAA never accomplished anything cause he'd hit .300+ while there but didn't do much when called up.

I hope so. We have a long history of failed positional prospects.
