Pujols doesn't get a deal done before the season, Punto has a hernia that keeps him out 8-12 weeks, and now Wainwright is done for the year.

yeah, thanks to Brandon, Cueto and Gomes, this year should be a very interesting year revolving around the Reds and the Cardinals. just hope we can actually win games against them this year :P

If you can't back it up you should not be talking. I would prefer them to keep quiet becuase the Cards as much as I dislike them are tough. Wainwright or not they will still be very good. Carpenter is probably going t come back strong and Garcia was really good last year. I'm guessing Garcia will be even better this year.

I'm sure the Cards will still be there CB. One of the best managers in the game along with the rest of the pitching staff there still going to be tough to beat out.

Thankfully last year the Cards handed the Division over after the beat down they gave us when Phillips said what he said. I'm all about getting other your rivalries skin but for pete's sake back it up or shut up.

Oh, I still think we'll be in the hunt, just frustrating how the year has started, well at least spring.

The good thing, if there is a good thing, is that this happened prior to ST games, so we have a chance to find that replacement.

Yeah, I'm sure your probably as frustrated as anyone knowing how big of cards fan you are. It's a big blow losing Wainwright, luckily you have Carpenter and Garcia in the rotation. I'm curious to see how Westbrook pitches this well. I always like him with the Indians,just hoping he don't pitch too well

Just read on Reds.com that Gomez singing wainwright gone was not true and made up. Gomez cleared it up by saying he walked in asking is Wainwright gone and not singing it. He said he would never wish or be happy about a player being injured. Not sure exactly who wrote the report about them gloriously singing and being happy about it but it sounds like it was a made up. Probably just to stir the pot some,lol.
