More like a tough break or a shame.

After reading every article I could fine on the whole Gomes celebrating thing, I am not sure what happened in the clubhouse.
I do know McCoy responded today and says he didnt mean to cause a stir and said he loves Gomes and doesnt think he now said it.
Sounds like he might of said it if you ask me and now McCoy is saying Gomes didnt say it just to keep access to the team. I think McCoy is afraid if he sticks to his story the Reds will ban him from the clubhouse. By the way McCoy is now back in Dayton and no longer in Arizona.
A tough break is missing a flight. A shame is having your 10-year old lawnmower die on you. This is a little bit more than a tough break or a shame.

So having elbow surgery is worse than having a kid you know die?

Injuries are simply part of the game.

I'm sure he'll come back better than ever.

Neener neener neener and all that, hunh?

All right, it sucks. Last year he was one of, possibly even the best pitcher in the NL and he won't even be playing next year. Great players should always be on the field. Some Reds fans will do a little jig at this, but I'm not feeling it.

I think he got stuck on "10 year old" without reading the "lawnmower" part.

Completely missed the mark there buddy.

I'm an idiot. Thought he was saying he was paying a 10-year-old kid to mow his lawn. Let's just move along......

I just read Carpenter left todays game with an injury, doesnt look to be anything serious but still. What is going on with the Cards?

I read he's out for about 2 weeks, nothing serious. However, this could set him back as far as getting his arm strength up.

Yup, and Mitchell Boggs got hurt today to..just pitch reserve players for here on out..lol, not shaping up to be our year, but this usually when the Cards shine when backs against the wall.
