Giant Fans, what to root for

As a lifelong Giants fan, I'm in a bit of a dilema.
Of course I hate the Dodgers, but lately I find myself pulling for them to win the wildcard.
My rational- it would be AWESOME to beat them in the NLCS.
The downfall- every Dodger fan I know is a whiner and know they would come up with some crybaby excuse in the playoffs for why their team lost.

I'm not a fan of either team per se (tho i'm a fan of Felipe Alou, Barry Bonds and Shawn Green) i'd hope for the Dodgers to go in. There's nothing like the traditional Giants-Dodgers matchup

Well, it would be nice to see the G-Men beat the Dodgers in the playoffs, but, as a true Giants fan, I would never root for the Dodgers. If they don't win one game all year, THEN I'll be happy.

You also have to consider that Dodger fans only pay attention when their team is in it, so their pain would be greater if they lost in the playoffs.

Gee, that was the most ignorant statement I've heard in a while.

Anyways, you forgot about another thing....you root for the Dodgers to make the NLCS to lose to the Giants...then how do you feel if The Dodgers beat the Giants in the NLCS after you rooted for them to get there?

If you'd look back to my initial post, you'd see that I am speaking of the Dodger fans I personally know. So it isn't an ignorant statement, the Dodger fans I know straight up tell me, "I don't pay attention to baseball unless the Dodgers are in it." So how can that be ignorant? Maybe you're ignorant for not reading the thread before you start the name calling
As far as the Dodgers beating the Giants in the NLCS, ya, that'd suck, but I love the drama, and I'd rather take my chances with the Dodgers than Atlanta.
