    A big thing also the Braves big time starters never pitched well in the post-season.I believe Maddux and Glavine have a career losing record in the post-season.

      Yes, they both were just below .500. They both actually pitched to their career averages on the rate stats (h/9, k/9, bb/9, hr/9, etc) in the post season, so I'd say the record is indicative of their offense getting shutdown and a little bad luck.

        As SF pointed out, W-L is by far the worst metric to judge a pitcher by.
