I sure hope Yunel Escobar is okay. He may have a concussion as he hit his head awfully hard sliding into 3rd last night. I doubt he plays today's game even if he's medically cleared.

On the positive side Jesse Litsch looked pretty good and the Jays continue to use a combination of good hitting and aggressive baserunning. Here's to hoping Ricky Romero pitches the team to a sweep over the A's.

This is a good time to be a Reds fan. 5-0. Sucks I haven't been able to watch any games down here or be in Cincinnati to feel the excitement. One thing my dad told me is attendance has been terrible so far. I know April in Cincinnati isn't excactly nice but come on Reds fans!

As much as a headache he can be, this would be a good pickup for the Giants. They are completely reliant on Andres Torres being their only leadoff hitter for the year, and if he goes down or can't hit from the right side we need someone else to fall back on. Sure, Tejada and Rowand are options to lead off the game for us but they are definitely lacking in speed.

The only problem though is we already have an issue figuring out who will be the odd man out in the outfield. We have Torres, Huff, Burrell, Rowand, and when Ross comes back he'll be playing as well. I can see use for him on our team if this wasn't such an issue though.

Beautiful squeeze play by the Tribe to go up 1-0 over the Red Sox in the bottom of the 8th.

Did McDonald just get picked off to end the Boston/Cle game? I was following online and it says out advancing pitcher to third to shortstop.

Yeah, because a home series against the Yanks is going to be just what the Sox need to end this losing streak.

He rounded second hard and slipped. Everett threw him out after he slipped. Ball Game.

He had his moments where he dominated and then would lose it.

But after the one inning *2nd or 3rd* he was cruising. Lester pitched like a monster.

This team would have lost this game if Eric Wedge was coaching the Indians, though. Defense and fundamentals won this game. 4-2 against both Sox and we head west.

It`s nice to actually see this team bunt, steal bases, and hit and run. The suicide squeeze was money. Wedge would have never called that play.

Wedgie would still be waiting for a 2 run home run.

Acta bringing the NL style to the AL is highly refreshing. And the bullpen is so money right now.

Can't beleive I'm rooting for a division rival to take down another one already, but.....go Astros. Going to the bottom of the 8th tied at 2 with Cincy.

Droob's suicide squeeze. Hell of a bunt.
