Wow that was just wow what a great head first slide, Infante was basically out but moved his hand as Ramos tried to tag it and just barely touched corner just amazing

Ya... I don't know about that. I'll agree that no call on strike 3 versus Vic was borderline, but it wasn't awful. Vic just took advantage. Each team caused their own problems. Phils young guns out of the pen were just clutch.

Bay, Martinez and Wright all homer in Houston and Mets are now up 5-4 after trailing 4-0... only have 6 hits but 3 are home runs... Bay's was a solo shot to left that hit the train tracks I believe (406 ft), then Martinez with a two run shot that made it 4-3 and Wright's two run homer put Mets up... K-Rod came into the game in the bottom of the 8th and stranded the tying run at third. Mets now batting with two outs in the top of the 9th. Turner just got on with a base hit and now Pridie doubles in Turner Mets up 6-4 with 2 outs in the 9th.

Meh, what about Uggla choking before him and swinging at ball after ball in the Bottom of the 7th? Freeman didn't come up after the 7th anyway.

Early on in the game, 1st inning, when the Braves had Prado on McLouth on, the umpire called the first pitch on Uggla and Freeman strikes when both were clearly not. That changed the at bat because both Freeman and Uggle struck out on low pitches probably fearing the ump would miss those as well.

Oh well, there are still more game to be played, but this team needs to get an identity and quick. They look so different every week.

Not arguing Uggla wasn't a waste tonight, but more or less so far Freeman has been a bigger waste

But Freeman is a rookie and he didn't get traded for and signed to a massive extension....

So the Cardinals bullpen is really really really really really bad at closing out games.

This makes our 9th blown save on the year, we are 22-17 and could be running away with this division if we had a competent closer.

12 saves and 9 blown saves is pathetic.

The Twins are 7-23 in their last 30 games against the Blue Jays.

What happened to Ryan Franklin? I knew he was struggling bigtime, did they just move him down farther in the bullpen?
