Jason Bay has 8 RBI's tonight vs Cubbies

The more I watch this kid, the more I like him. A grand slam in the 2nd inning, followed by a two-run blast in the fourth, followed by a two-run double. Of course, the Cubs win 10-9.

Those Battlin' Buccos lead 9-4 in game two, top of the eighth.

Any ways, back to Bay. He has a REALLY nice, quick, compact swing and has learned LF at PNC quite well. It looks like we have quite a player here!

And I got to see his first career HR when he was up with the Padres vs. the D'Backs earlier in the year. That bodes well for him cause the last person who's first HR I saw was Richie Sexson.

Funny enough, the 9th run of the night came when Bay was at the plate with bases loaded and the pitcher wanted NO PARTS and was throwing anywhere BUT the strike zone and a passed ball occured and Kendall took home. Then immediately followed by a 2-run double by Bay to make RBI's #7 and 8.
