The Jays very nearly lost the game in heart breaking fashion AGAIN! Luckily the offense put up enough runs but this is just crazy!

I'm sick of this GUY. Why is he on the freakin' team still?! Goodness gracious.

He has given up like 3 HR in just the last 2 or 3 weeks, and they've all been of the devastating variety. Why he hasn't been DFA'd is beyond me. And even more confusing still, the Braves have been stringing this loser along and throwing extra money at him the last two years. And most of that time he was struggling in AAA...

It's extremely hard for me to figure out the Braves' fascination with Proctor.

Yes, tell me about it...I had to work last night and followed the game online. When Proctor came in I just gave up...knew the game was over at that point. Dude has a propensity for giving up home runs in big situations.

I don't know if I was the only one (I was talking to Watson about it last night before the home run), but I don't know why Gonzalez didn't leave Sherrill in to at least face the first three hitters that inning, all of which would have been left-handed hitters. It didn't make much sense for them to burn through pitchers like that, especially if the game was going to last for a while.

Fortunately Prado will be able to man 3rd when he returns after the break. Also, Conrad has hit .246/.353/.456 this year, so he and Lugo should be able to hold down the fort.

Not the best news right now but a smart move nevertheless. Chipper can nurse the injury over the beak and will be back in action when the second half of the season starts.

He's having surgery on his right knee. He'll probably be back in early august if everything goes well.
