Pirates game: Pirates turn 4 DP in 4 innings, nice job by Maholm and the defense.

Rockies game: Ian Stewart with a hit, hope he can build confidence of it and raise is BA.

I love when Freddi just rolls out the B-team and gives up. Gearin and Proctor? Really? It's not like Venters/O'Flaherty/Kimbrel aren't about to have a 5 day break.

I love when Freddi just rolls out the B-team and gives up. Gearin and Proctor? Really? It's not like Venters/O'Flaherty/Kimbrel aren't about to have a 5 day break.

I haven't enjoyed much of Fredi Gonzalez this year, but I can't blame him for today. Those three guys have had way too much work in the first half. This lineup wasn't scoring more than a couple of runs today anyways.

Here's to this being Proctors last game on the roster.. I hope.

I know...I just hate getting embarrassed like that. We weren't touching Hamels (never do) so it was the right call I guess. I called the series before this weekend, predicting 1 of 3 with the win coming on Saturday. 3.5 back at the break after the injuries/under performances we've seen is amazing.
