A solution for the AL MVP/CY YOUNG race!!

Since there is no clear player deserving of the MVP, and so many pitchers with a case for the CY... why not--

    AL MVP-- Roy Halladay
AL CY YOUNG- One of.. (Loaiza, Hudson, Moyer, Pettitte, Pedro, Mussina, Maroth...etc

I'll catch Hell, I know, but you could make an argument that Roy is the most valuable player in the AL.

I actuallly think Halladay has been a big time MVP candidate...The Blue Jays have an awful pitching staff but Doc has been lights out almost all year.

I dont think that pitchers should win the AL MVP unless they put up absolutly mind-boggeling numbers. Hallady is a great pitcher but shouldn't win the MVP considering there are many more postion players who deserve it more.

As much of a Blue Jay fan that I am I don't think that Roy deserves the MVP at least the way the award is handed out every year nowadays. He is definately the Cy Young award winner tho.
