Bedard is better then Harden but I really dislike his attitude. Awaiting the Lackey vs Bedard clubhouse brawl.

And Ned Collettii continues to ruin this organization. Just continues my theory that god hates my sports teams.

Why would you jump in this deal for a ****ty catcher? Why trade a top 5 prospect on the team? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Hitting refresh by the second on mlbtraderumors, because that just don't seem right. We give up lesser prospects than Lars to get a better pitcher than Harden, and end up with a better prospect in addition to Bedard??!!

I keep hearing Robinson to M's and that makes more sense. Still waiting to hear for sure too.

Not sure why Cleveland didn't get a bat. This team can't hit for crap and needed a bat more than a pitcher.

3:14pm: This appears to be what's gone down, from Gordon Edes:
                      • Red Sox get: starter Erik Bedard, reliever Joshua Fields (both from Mariners)
                      • Dodgers get: catcher Tim Federowicz, Juan Rodriguez, Stephen Fife (all from Red Sox)
                      • Mariners get: outfielder Trayvon Robinson (from Dodgers), outfielder Chih-Hsien Chiang (from Red Sox)

Dissapointed that the Tigers didn't pick up another reliever. Granted they picked up Pauley, but the bullpen is by far their biggest weakness, and they needed another arm with Al Alburquerque having some elbow issues at the moment.

Seems like a great get for the M's for a rent-a-player in Bedard.

especially about the part where he projects as a major league backup. We already have 3 of those and we gave up our #2 position player in the minors to get him and 2 pitchers.

Dodgers fans: What's up with Robinson's low SB output this year? He looks like a solid hitter, showing a lot of power this year (everyone in PCL is though), lots of K's. How's his defense? CF or corner OF?
