I'm really starting to believe the Braves are not going to make the playoffs. They need to find an offense that can do something consistently and Lowe needs to get his stuff together or the Braves are going to have to do something about him. I know there a 61 more games, but the Braves are so ugly it's unbelievable they have a top 3 or 4 record.

Puma Blast in the 5th over at PNC Park! Berkman's having a terrific season. If I was told that he'd have this kind of year back when the Cardinals signed him, I wouldn't have believed it.

Lets go Cardinals man..that's what I'm talking about..Puma is a beast, great signing, Molina is getting hot....Don't know what we're going to do at the deadline, but hopes it's for bullpen help and guys off the bench

Yeah, the bullpen totally needs an upgrade. Sanchez was awesome before getting injured and Salas has been pitching good, but Bautista, Franklin etc. really need to go. I also wouldn't mind a top-notch lefty reliever in there instead of Miller and (ugh) Tallett.

Really?

They still have a 5 game lead in the wild card... Plus, there is probably an upgrade coming to both the lineup and bullpen in the very near future. The offense has been an adventure for most of the first half, but some of the guys who were struggling are showing signs of life.

I'm not sure if we'll be able to catch Philly, but I'm still pretty confident we'll hang on to the wild card spot.

This guy doing the color commentary on FOX for the Phils/Padres game should make those of you who hate Joe Morgan like him again. He's almost unbearable.

I watched some of that game? Do you happen to know who that guy was? I was kinda thinking Eric Karros but then he spoke about Ron Washington as if he was managed by him at some point in his career.

Help please?

I tried to look up the broadcasting crew but couldn't find it, but I heard him once before not learning the name, though recognized right away it was the same guy because of the horrendous style. I absolutely HATE announcers coaching from the broadcast booth. If you want to coach, go coach. You're color commentating, i.e., enhancing what the PBP guy does with ancillary comments.

On another note..... Domonic Brown sucks in the OF. He can't judge a ball and his throw accuracy blows. It'll never happen, but when Polanco comes back, I would keep Mayberry and Martinez and send down Brown.


And what ever happened to arguing balls and strikes as grounds for getting tossed? I see more players crying about it and they're trotting out onto the field the next inning.

Mike Stanton and Logan Morrison, I love those guys. After LoMo only hit 2 HRs in his time in the major last year he's hit 15 this year.

Also Bonifacio keeps his 23 game hit streak alive
