    Great guy. I always liked him. Sad to see him retire but hopefully he gets involved in baseball commentary, I'd bet he would be a great color commentator.

      Great ballplayer. I remember him more as a Cubbie but i'm glad he got his ring. I think he'd be a pretty good commentator as well. He'd be more of the quiet type with good points and good stories to tell. At least that's a bit better then some of the clowns on FOX right now.

        Great ballplayer. I remember him more as a Cubbie but i'm glad he got his ring. I think he'd be a pretty good commentator as well. He'd be more of the quiet type with good points and good stories to tell. At least that's a bit better then some of the clowns on FOX right now.

            he's not one of the greats, but he sure is good. i hope he does go into commentary, most likely w/ espn on wed. night baseball or something. if there are many throwback players in the league at this moment, he is one of them. he probably won't be missed too much although he was a very good ball player, but he's a class act and made his career a fun one.
