No need for a war, it was good natured ribbing.

I admit I still cry over Norwood's missed FG....geez now that's out in the open!

HOLY COW, CUBS WIN CUBS WIN.

Why not us, we have just a good a chance as anybody else in the National League... Plus Kerry Wood can start Game 1.

Stop crying Bills fan. How would you like it if a backup qb orchestrated the biggest comeback in NFL history.

It is frustrating when you think about how much talent the Sox have compared to the Cubbies. The Sox batting order is far superior (on paper) and the starting pitching is not that far behind the Cubs. I think the Sox had the better bullpen but Manuel badly mismanaged it.

The NL Central & AL Central were very comparable, both divisions were there for the taking. But the bottom line is that the Sox underachieved most of the year and choked down the stretch. The Cubs overavhieved and played their best ball down the stretch.

The only consolation will be the firing of Jerry Manuel on Monday.

His Gandhi style may work on some teams but not this team. The Sox did not play sound fundamental ball all year, they just had some good power hitting going for a stretch. Their offense was way too dependent on the 2-3 run HR .

I think the Sox are a team that really needs a kick in the *ss, I am very curious who will replace Manuel.
