    Since season is basically over.....

Which managers are on the hot seat and who would you replace them with.

Larry Bowa- I think his act has worn thin in Philly. I don't really know who i'd replace him with but I think it should be someone with some managerial experience and from the Phillie organization.

Jerry Manuel- It's obvious that his laid back style of managing has fallen on deaf ears. The ChiSox should've been the winner of the AL CENTRAL this year but for some reason or another they just regressed. I've heard that Paul Molitor might be a candidate. While he's also a laid back personality I think that he knows how to manage people as well as have a good handle on the game that he could do well as a manager. I remember that in previous years he was thought of as the manager to be in Toronto and Minnesota.

a bit of a shocker but Bob Melvin in Seattle is on the hot seat as well. I don't know if Pat Gillick has the temperment to actually fire him after his first year. If there is to be a firing I can see Gillick hiring his old friend Davey Johnson. BTW where has he been lately?

I would replace Larry Bowa with Hal McRae, but i would not be surprised to hear Bob Boone's name mentioned,

Jerry Manuel should and will be fired, Bobby Valentine could end up with the White Sox

other managers on the hot seat could include: Mike Hargrove (Bal), Jimmy Williams (Hou) and Jim Tracy (LA),

one GM who could be on the hot seat is John Hart in Texas, he has spent a ton of money and has nothing but three losing seasons to show for it,
and keep in mind Jim Bowden is available.

          Replacements for Manuel

          -Carlton Fisk
          -Bobby V
          -Wally Backman

Those are probably the top 3 to get picked.

You'd be surprised, he wouldn't be nearly as laid back as it would appear. While he does have a laid back personality, he has no problem getting into someone's face when necessary.

Molly would make a great manager, just make sure that he's got a quality pitching coach on the bench with him.
