Damn I logged in to give an update on the Tigers game, I see I'm a bit late

Also, I have no problem with the bunt hit attempt. I've never had a problem with that, you are trying to win the game, what's the difference if you bunt for a single in the 1st inning vs trying it in the 8th during a no-no bid? I guess if it was 10-0 I can see the argument but this game was still winnable.

Sidenote: to contradict myself, even a 10-0 game is winnable when the game is untimed.

Not sure if anybody saw this, but MLB network has a clip of JV yelling at Aybar after the 8th. Basically most of it was bleeped out, but the gist was that Aybar should expect one in the ribs next time he faces JV. Note to individuals named Weaver, notice how he didn't saw he was going to throw it anywhere near his head.

Even though I do kind of agree with l3ulvl, in terms of the bunt being a viable option when the game is still close and winnable, even when the opposing pitcher is pitching a no hitter. I can understand the pitcher being upset by the bunt in that situation though.
