I like that call on Major League (the Movie) where he says
"And he crushes one towards South America" It just cracks me up

Yeah, Duane Kuiper has the best on ever!!! He is so great calling Giants' home run calls.

"And the pitch... (THWACK) Aurilia his a SHOT to left field, this one's on it's way, GILES GOING BACK, AT THE WALL... OUTTA HERE!!!"

"2 and 1 to Galarraga... and Galaragga hiTS A HIGH DRIVE... DEEEEEEP LEFT FIELD.............. OUTTA HERE!!!"

"And the crowd is on their feet here at Pac Bell Park... tie game up until now. Ray King on the hill. Bonds up, sitting in the box waiting for the pitch...... (THWACK) SWING!!!... and a LONG ONE TO RIGHT CENTER!!! GAME OVER!!!". Mike Krukow: "HE'S REWRITING THE SCRIPT!!!"

LOL sorry for all the examples, but he is the best, and Mike Krukow is a GREAT color commentator.

However, as great as Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow are on TV, I just can't STAND the radio side of the Giants broadcasting crew... meet Mr. Joe Angel... the WORST commentator in the world, and with a pretty bad homerun call, that usually goes like this:

"JT Snow... with the 3-1 count. And the pitch... (THWACK) Snow hits a HIIIIIIIIIGH fly ball, Green is tracking under it, a quite LAZY fly ball... now Green on the warning track, to the wall... WAVE bye-bye as Snow goes yard for the uh... for the 16th time of the year. Oh wait a minute... that was Jose Cruz Jr. up to bat... I'm sorry."

                        I've heard this before:

"And uhh... Santiago will step back into the box. So far, he has been 1 for 2, with a double down the line in left field, where uh... Chipper Jones had to field it, and throw it in to Furcal, where they missed him by about 4 steps at second. You know what's interesting?, is that Chipper's REAL name is Larry. Santiago's OTHER at bat was a strikeout on 4 pitches. OH MY LORD, and Santiago just hit a homerun as I was reading these statistics, and the Giants are up FOUR to one, here in the uh... the top of the third."

IT IS HIGH..IT IS DEEP!...and it is caught.

Anyways, the best homerun call I've heard over and over and over again is, "Deep to left! Yastrzemski will not get it! It's a home run!" The more you hear it, the more you like it.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
