                    Brad Penny hasn't been that bad when you consider the expectations for him going into the season. Penny was brought in to be the Tigers #5 starter, and all that's usually required for a #5 starter to achieve is to eat up innings and also put the team in position to have a decent chance to win 50% of the games he starts. And for the most part Penny has done that.

                    At any rate, it just wasn't the Tigers day today. Penny and David Pauley both got rocked by the Twins -- especially the bottom of their lineup. The White Sox gained some ground but the Indians didn't. It was still a successful 5-2 road trip for the Tigers.

                        Well Penny won't be back next season, that's a given. Turner will probably take his spot.

                        Speaking of Turner, He's starting Thursday agaisnt Kansas City.

                            Doubt many people knew this but Ian Kennedy has 17 wins. I didn't know it was that high.

                                        Blah. It was closer than it needed to be. Damn Axford. The Cubs were mashing him. A homer and 2 REALLY loud outs.
