Andruw should go (ok, maybe my anger is getting the best of me here).

NO WAY. Don't ever say that. Andruw is the best all-around player on Atlanta's roster.

I hope he remains a Brave until he retires

12 straight years and only one World Series is not nearly as bad the Cubs going 95 years without winning a playoff.

What a surprise, the Braves offense has shut down in the playoffs. They make every starter look like a God. How many games did Kerry Wood lose this year? Didn't he lose 10 or something like that? Someone obviously got hits off him. Playoffs roll around though, and the Braves bats always go into the toilet. To top it off, I was driving back from out of town and was watching the last couple innings at a Pizza Hut, and I had to sit and listen to some Cubs fan for half an hour going on and on about the Cubs. The pizza almost came back up.

The Braves need to go in some other direction. They have way too little emotion and heart. As much as I like Maddux, he should go. Most of the relievers need to go. Useless Byrd should go, Castilla should go. Andruw should go (ok, maybe my anger is getting the best of me here).

This year feels like such a waste. Not much different than other years I guess. I'll be a Braves fan until the day I die, but this is frustrating. I think it felt better when they were cellar dwellers back in the 70s and 80s.

Not too make excuses for Kerry Wood, but he pitched a great series! Kerry Wood and Mark Prior shut down Atlanta hitting, no coincidence that the Atlanta wins came against our average to good pitchers in Zambrano and Clement...

Just to state as well.. Wood pitched with back problems for a stretch and a lot of his games he got very little run support....

            I'm out!.. Go Cubs!

I was halfway joking, but he didn't hit anything this postseason. If I remember correctly, he hasn't hit anything in the postseason since his first year against the Yankees.

I don't know..I'm just frustrated. I don't know what the answer is. I just think they need more heart and more emotion. Maybe a few years not making the playoffs would be helpful. As a fan, I don't want that, but maybe it's the only thing that can help them and the crappy fans in Atlanta not take it for granted. The fact that there were so many Cubs fans at those games is a joke and a disgrace. The city doesn't deserve a championship with support like that.

I hear ya, but I think that attitude is why the Braves haven't won more championships. I think they've gotten so used to it, that they always let down their guard and end up getting beat. Maybe it has nothing to do with it. I don't know, I'm just trying to find explanations. I know Kerry Wood and Mark Prior are great pitchers, but every year it's someone. Last year it was Russ Ortiz. The year before that it was Johnson and Shilling, Before that it was Andy Pettite, Sterling Hitchcock, Livan Hernandez, David Cone, and Jack Morris. These are all good pitchers, but all World Series champs face good pitchers.
