Agreed, also if you were paying attention Damon lifted his arm and waved to show he was alright. Now if he was still motionless and comatose and the fans applauded....then you have another story altogether.

WOW!!!! My heart won't stop racing. My friend from Boston kept calling me all night long not to talk but to yell "WOO WOO" everytime something went well for Boston. It was quite funny. I thought I was going to pass out in the 9th inning, but DLowe came out like a champ!!!! Congrats Boston and what a fantastic DS!

Pretty exciting stuff. The playoffs have been awesome so far this year.

LMAO. What game were you watching, buddy? Those 2 strikeout pitches were anything BUT down the middle. Both of those pitches had some nasty *** movement on them. I am pissed that both guys just looked at them for strike 3, but they were not piped.

I was more upset seeing Terrence Long watch his, since if he had half a brain would have realized it was coming since he had just seen Lowe punch out Melhuse with it. Lowe has some real balls to throw those pitches, though. He had to be perfect with location, and he was. If he had gotten either one just a little more out over the plate, one of them would have gotten driven somewhere hard.

That was a real, real gutsy job from Derek Lowe. The bastard.

Why do you think Damian Jackson was crying after the final out? Relief? Thinking of Damon? Happiness that knocking Damon out didn't cost them the game?

Don't worry, the Sox always save the best for last.....as in monumental chokejob.
