Will the streak come to an end?

Albert Pujols and his 10 consecutive seasons hitting .300+, 30+ homeruns and 100+ RBI's a year. Heck, if he wasn't short 1 run in 2007, he'd had 10 straight years scoring 100 too.
This year though, he is sitting at .296 with 85 RBI's. Can you mash out 15 more RBI's and get over .300?

If he gets hot, anything is possible.

With the way he's been hitting lately, I'll say yeah, he will.

As long as Albert is pitched to he has a chance.

The streak i see coming to an end is Ichiro's streak of 200+ hit seasons. he needs 40 hits with only 24 games left so i think that streak will end at 10.

Do you think LaRussa would sit him if he was just over .300 at the end of the year? Like Ted Williams and .400, he went out and played did something like 6-8 on a double header.

I think Albert can do it, and even if he doesn't I will still consider him the best player in baseball today.

Shoot, I'm not with you there at all buddy. I think if he doesn't do this, he'll be considered one of the biggest disappointing flops in all baseball, and he'd be lucky if he gets a $3 million offer next year.

No question, only 7 rbi away now and 3 points under .300, barring injury of course. How many people can call that a down year?

After his 4/4 performance the other night, he now has his average above .300 again.

                      2 RBI's away.

The thing that stands out to me is his doubles. He's gonna finish with 15-20 less than he usually does
