holy hell i just met Mark Prior!

i was over at the Home Depot today in the chicagoland area picking up some things when i noticed a tall dude resembling Mark Prior from the cubs...i thought to myself, nahhh that cant be him...so i called a friend and he told me to go and find out of it was him....as im on the phone, prior walks right past me...it was totally him...so i decide i must get his autograph... i go to the help desk and get a pen...then attempt to find him....Home Depot is a huge place and i LOST HIM!! well after lurking around for 10 mins i gave up only to have him appear right around the corner ...we was just exiting the bathroom furnishings area and had some items in his hand, he was with his girlfriend...i walked up and said "excuse me, Mr. Prior?" and he trned around and said "yes?" i said its nice too meet you and i shook his hand, wished him luck tonight and asked of he could sign something for me...and he did...how awesome is that??

That's too cool. What's he doing shopping at Home Depot when he has a game tonight? If he gets rocked, we're going to know why. Too much work fixing the toilet.

yea no kidding...the ppl at work and my friends were like what the hell is he doing there..hahah..it was funny tho because there were tons of ppl in there with cubs shirts and hats on and NO one went up to him, no one even knew who he was...hes still young and not many ppl know his face yet..but after this series and possibly the world series he wont be able to enjoy his freedom going out in public like that anymore...he was in a t-shirt and shorts and was walking around like nothing....id give it 3 months before he gets mobbed everywhere he goes.

Maybe it's a good thing for Cubs fans that he was there. It shows that he's not completely focused on the game tonight. He might be looser and pitch a great game because of it.

i was just shocked...the coolest day ever...good thing i got the autograph...however i totally forgot i had my ticket stub from last nights game on me...i should have had him sign that..DAMN IT..i had him sign the back of my business card...oh well..ill never forget that tho, that and witnessing that sammy homerun in the bot of the 9th live...hell of a 24 hour span for me..

i was just shocked...the coolest day ever...good thing i got the autograph...however i totally forgot i had my ticket stub from last nights game on me...i should have had him sign that..DAMN IT..i had him sign the back of my business card...oh well..ill never forget that tho, that and witnessing that sammy homerun in the bot of the 9th live...hell of a 24 hour span for me..
