You really don't want to see free baseball after 1 AM.

HUGE series for the BoSox and Rays....I'm hoping Tampa can sweep or take 3 out of 4 and make it a real horse race down the stretch.

Looks like Tommy Field needs to be renamed to Tommy Defense, because he certainly can't throw.

So uh, ya, are any Red Sox fans worried yet? It would be such a failure for them to not make the playoffs imo after all the money they spent in the offseason. It will be interesting to see if they can hold off the Rays.

I'd love to see the Rays make the playoffs. Most definitely an underdog team, and I'm sure a decent amount of people will root for them who don't have a team in the playoffs. I know I'll certainly be rooting them on to make it, and go far if they do.

If i'm a Sawx fan i'm biting my nails big time. This is looking like a prototypical September Swoon. It's not even like the offense is the problem it's more the pitchers. I mean what the heck is Francona supposed to do say "pitch better!"?

I'm rooting for the Rays to make it though as they're a good solid team and hey, I like the underdog!

(Okay, the real reason is I don't like seeing BOTH the Sox and Yankees in the playoffs in the same year)

I like the Rays infinitely more than I like the Red Sox, but honestly? I don't want that stadium involved in the playoffs. An albatross and an eyesore. Blah. Sounds petty but I'd much rather watch the crisp October air settle in over the crowd at Fenway. I don't know, something about it.

Same here. Games at the Trop are painful to watch on TV.

Could not agree more. I love watching the Rays, but I don't even bother when they are at home. The Trop looks like a dungeon...baseball should be played OUTDOORS.

The Trop is even worse in person. But I can't pass up on watching my Yankees.
