Hypothetically speaking, if the rain keeps coming down hard until 1am do they actually resume the game then? How long will they wait?

But this is a regular season game, not a playoff game. Sure people will be pundits, but it is a regular season game, regardless the circumstances. But taking only this game into account, it isn't like Baltimore has anything to play for, other than wanting to be a spoiler by good ole Bucky's hatred for the very types of teams he once managed.

Even though I know I would be pissed if it was the other way around. Not going to sound like a hypocrite... I will admit I would be upset.

Personally I think MLB is damned if they do, damned if they don't. You can make arguments for both sides of the ledger and no matter what decision is made you're going to have the pundits being vocal and critical.

I don't envy the people having to make the call down there.

Agreed, but the right call, would be to call the game if it can not resume in the reasonable time slot since it is considered "official" through five. It is a regular season game, not a playoff game.

I would be pissed if it was the other way around, but would understand the "rules".
