Clearly you missed my rant about Proctor, as in he sucks.

Yeah, because MLB pitchers are taught to throw 82MPH change ups down the middle already behind in the count.

Not once, but 3 hitters in a row.

****ing Scutaro. The Orioles have of the better cut-off exchangers in the league. You can't just throw away outs like that.

That hitter is officially the worst hitter in the history of baseball.

Not 1 run against Proctor? Not enough #want Rays.

So you sit, and wonder... if he was correctly called out at the plate, and the Pirates eventually won that game... the Cardinals would be the NL Wild Card team right now.
All the bad calls over the season kind of balance each other out. That bad call won the game for the Braves. Earlier in the year Prince Fielder was called safe on a run that became the game winning run against the Braves. Replays showed he was clearly out.

Just one example. Bad calls are frustrating, but they do seem to balance out over the course of the season.

Cards are hopping on the plane, no celebration at MMP tonight regardless of the result. They have to get ready for the possibility of a game tomorrow.
