Me as well...I'm so happy for Boone it is unbelievable, After such a horrible postseason, and people like me saying it was a sh*tty trade..he proved all wrong!

I still think the trade was horrible. This doesn't change it one bit. But congrats to Aaron and his brother, I guess.

Aaron Boone is one of the classiest guys in all of Major leagues. I live two hours from Cincinnati and I remember the day he got traded---he broke down in tears b/c he didn't want to leave his dad and his squad, but at the same time, he wanted a shot at a ring...talk about bittersweet.....It's a sick feeling to watch the Yankees go to the Big Dance again, but this guy deserves to be the hero.....but at the same time, the Red Sox choked big time, just like my Cubs. I say good riddance to both teams because they don't deserve to play for a championship because they are both choke artists. And there is no curse---the Yankees and Marlins simply have more cajones. Hail to Aaron Boone....I bet everyone at Cheers does, in fact, know his name tonight

Here's hoping the Yankees underestimate the Marlins like the Giants and Cubs did.

Agreed, I said in one of my posts that i'm not sure i'm gonna watch much of the WS. (not that a Canadian counts for american ratings but you know) People are starting to tire of the Yankees. I know they didn't win last year or in '01 but they seem to be there EVERY FREAKIN' YEAR!

For once i'd like to see something different.
