the curse of the goat is hilarious. They intervied the son of the goat guy on the radio today. He owns a restaurant in Chicago to that inspired that funny Belushi SNL skit...Hamburger, Hamburger, Hamburger...fries, no pepsi, coke. lol

I don't know what to say. this was a shock. We should be going to the world series, wow. I have never felt this bad. I really hate them yankees. WOW

You must be a young fan. As fan whole lived through 1978 and 1986, I am able not only to accept these things but expect them. While I enjoyed the game last night, it was never a matter of if, but when. Everyone is upset with Grady, but Embree would have gotten smoked too, and everyone would be asking "How can you take out the best pitcher in baseball for a journeyman in game 7?"
Anyway, welcome all you young Red Sox fans. You have competed your right of passage, and now you truly understand what it means to be a Red Sox fan (Same goes for all you Cubs fans as well). With time, you will also learn to give up on the whole "Next Year" concept too.Comment

There is a lot of wisdom in your post. But be sympathetic and remember what it felt like the first time. The similarities of the Cubs/Red Sox chokes this year are amazing.
If you are Grady Little/Dusty do you take out your best pitcher (Pedro/Prior) in the 8th when things are going bad for a flame-thrower (Embree/Farnswortth) that often gets hit hard?
I think in this situation both managers made the right call, rolled the dice on their stud, but it did not work out for either team.Comment
