I'm not even going to comment on how terrible they look, but I will say they messed up on a technical level in one area: their home jerseys say the name of their city, and not the name of their team. The only jersey to say "Marlins" is the orange one. Neither the white nor any black alternative says that; the rest all say "Miami." While that may look better than Marlins on the jersey, I can't believe they actually have that.

Maybe we should complain about the Rangers then? I believe they have "Texas" on their homes as well.

Anywho, not as bad as I thought it would be. The black jersey and orange hat combo is really nice and I like the orange jersey as well. Orange is just a color that doesn't get much love IMO.

Absolutely. I didn't know that off the top of my head; I was going to reference the D-backs alternate road unis, but that might have been a bit of overkill.

Anywho, not as bad as I thought it would be. The black jersey and orange hat combo is really nice and I like the orange jersey as well. Orange is just a color that doesn't get much love IMO.

Honestly, they couldn't get much worse. I'm not saying they literally couldn't get worse, but I don't know what worse combination you could have imagined that they would have put out (like an orange top with blue sleeves or something weird... just won't happen).

I really can't think of another jersey in baseball that looks worse. The color scheme for the entire uniform is half-decent (and at least original), but the lettering is beyond dreadful IMO.

I like their old uni's and hats and logo better but the orange hat is pretty nice looking I have to say, it looks really good with the black jersey.

They look much better than I expected to be, I like them. Even though their old ones were the best.

Think about it like this. You are trading their old jerseys, for a brand new stadium, Jose Reyes, Pujols or Mark Buehrle. It's a pretty good trade off.

I like the Florida Marlins jerseys as they were, and probably more than these, but they're nice.

They look like feces on a diamond though. HS, College, Minor league...not a pro baseball jersey.

I also hated the marlins' prior jerseys tho.

I've never seen orange feces before.

Anyway, I do like them. Definitely doesn't look as bad as I thought it would when the logo originally came out. Maybe put a black visor on the orange hat though.

Meh, not bad.

I'm not crazy about 'em, but I have a hard time believing people actually think these are hideous. Some of the comments I read on various sites had me scratching my head when I finally saw the pics.

I liked the old unis better, but these are fine. And they're a far cry away from something people should be getting worked up over.

They are starting to grow on me, especially the black ones, which I absolutely hated at first. And it has nothing to do with my extreme bias, I promise. No, really.
