How many years ago was it when people thought, 'If Roger Clemens doesn't play for Boston, it's so he can play at home in Texas'?

Next thing you know, he's out of the country.

Dude, there's no whay Pettitte is going to SD, sorry to burst your bubble. He already said that HE wants to stay in NY, but it's not totally up to him. His dad said there's a fifty-fifty chance he'll stay with the Yankees. If he decides to sign with a texas team (and ONLY a texas team) it'll be to be near his family.

He already said that that's one of his options. Sorry if you don't listen to radio or anything like that. Well, there's a bunch of other pitchers out there so it doesn't really matter to me. I'm just saying. Did I say that the Pads were going to sign him? No I didn't, so don't go around saying that I'm making a bubble here. If he goes somewhere else, fine by me.

Ha ha... this cracks me up. There can be rumors abound that Vladie, Sheff or Tejada are going to the Yanks and most fans won't care or get all defensive, but when a Yankee player is mentioned as leaving, Yankme fans get all in a huff.
