    Bautista DOESN'T Test Positive(x16)

All you need to know about the article....

"Random testing? Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista given 16 drug tests over two seasons"

I'm sure guys like ARod haven't been tested that many times in their careers.

Wonder what they say after each test? "He didn't test positive, maybe in 5 weeks that'll change"

We have random drug testing at my job.

There were a couple of years that my company(there are hundreds of "companies" encompassing the FDNY) got tested at least 10 times when I was working. I probably haven't been tested in 3 years now.
    It happens.

I doubt MLB is trying to find out that Bautista is using PEDs. It's actually the last thing they want.

      You're stretching here.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

I think it's so obvious he never used. I mean, any real baseball junkie can see that the changes he made in his swing increase power. The big leg kick, etc. And he never got any bigger. He's just a guy who figured out what was holding him back (missing on fastballs) so he got his front foot down faster and started earlier.

Not sure what the procedure is, but if its just "hey pee in a cup" whatevs, give me the cup.
Needles suck though, I'd get annoyed but in the end theres not much you can do

            No doubt.
I don't think anyone is accusing him of junkin'
He's a good case of just getting it together.

.....oh and it's definitely just pee in a cup.

Yep. The PA refuses to let them take blood samples, which happens to be the reliable way to test for HGH.

I think if he has been tested that many times it only makes him look better. By that I mean if they have a guy that is hitting a ton and they have tested him 16 times and he comes back clean each time it only makes him look better for doing it clean.

As a Jays fan its awesome watching him at the plate each time he comes up.
