Good to see the A's show some pop(even if it was against the M's bullpen) and more importantly escape with a W....great performance by Colon....hopefully something they can build on

The A's play like I play with them in The Show.

You either hit home runs or you don't score that day.

              This story is just bizzare.

So do you think this guy is full of ****, or is there some truth to this?

I read the article and all I could think was that the guy just wants some attention.. and obviously a navy Range Rover with tan leather. The more I read the messages he sent, the more elaborate it got. So either he is telling the truth, or he has way too much free time to think about ways of getting some money.

What I didn't understand was the guy said he stopped talking to him when they were 14 years old, but prior to that had a 3 year relationship with Pavano. The guy even said he was his first love. So that puts two 11 year old boys in a "physical and emotional" relationship.

                Yeah, he's full of ****.

So I know this means diddly poo but the Jays broke their franchise Spring Training record with their 22nd win of the spring. The year they had 21 wins in the spring they won the AL East but yeah, I don't think that'll happen this time around but hey, it's fun to have something to look forward to with some legitimacy.

The only thing that would make it better is if the Bedard guy was Erik Bedard...

It's going to be tremendously disappointing if the Jays don't at least live up to some of their spring success. I'm not too worried about the pitching, but I do have an irrational fear that a few key hitters might see just enough of a drop off.

Really stupid schedule. I didn't even see anything about opening day anywhere. MLB needs to focus on keeping MLB relevant in the US before they start screwing around playing games else where like other sports are doing.

I am gonna be watching a ****load of Jays games during my Extra Innings free preview.

                            I've got a man-crush on Brett Lawrie.

Jamie Moyer made the club and will start game 2. Best of luck to him.

Some columnists in Toronto are actually saying that Brett Lawrie is the TRUE clubhouse leader in the dressing room. In some ways that's just plain insane but in another way it makes a lot of sense. The Blue Jays haven't had an Alpha dog in the clubhouse since the glory days so he brings a lot of swagger that talented but quiet guys like Carlos Delgado and Roy Halladay never had.

No matter what happens this year it's going to be fun watching this team.
