    Rangers saving money for pitching?

The Rangers have said they aren't interested in Petitte. They are planning on saving money to make a run at Kerry Wood after next season. I can't see Kerry Wood leaving the Cubs. I understand that he may want to go home. I just want Wood and Prior together through their primes. They are both gonna be something special. It would be a shame to break those two apart.

If they dont have enough money to sign Petite they can write it into his contract that he can live in the West Wing of A-Rods house. Maybe he will even let him drive the porsche to work sometimes

Everybody has been hoping the Rangers are going to get some pitching for the last 5 years, yet every year they disappoint. They did sign that ridiculous contract with Chan Ho Park a couple years ago, yet he has done absolutely nothing and is a waste of 15 million a year. Heck, he spent half of last year in AAA.

Go after Kerry Wood? What happens if he decides to stay a Cub?That means not only would the Rangers be losing this year because they have no pitching, but then they are in a bind trying to find someone next year. Even if they do sign him, they would probably give him some insane contract, and it would mean he would be the only good pitcher on this team for a long time. They could surprise me and make a few good moves, and I hope they do, but lately it just seems like nothing has worked out for them.

They need to start from the ground up.
