Look what happened the last time the Mets overpaid for veterans that aren't great in the clubhouse. Really helped them, didn't it? They need to go out and get good, young players. I would say get Vlad, but my O's need him>

I think the Mets should go for Tejada, great player still young and he wants to win.
His fiery temper would be good for the Mets young players, and Art Howe has managed him before.

God help us all if that happens....Duquette is preching pitching and defense as his MO, not to mention a lower budget, and Manny is the exact opposite of all of that....great hitter no question, but terrible fielder, terrible contract, terrible attitude....pass on that one
id like them to focus on the following group: Cameron, Ibanez, Foulke, Castillo, Millwood, Colon, Sheffield.....any 3-4 outta that bunch would go a long way to restoring credibility to our Mets....its still early enough to hope
