Re: How Many Stadiums Have You Been To?
Fond, and not-so fond, memories of the place. It was a cookie-cutter stadium but it was still ours. I'm interested to know what he hated about the place too. I'll come out and say that Wrigley Field has its charm but I thought the placed smelled like a urinal. That was part of the reason I didn't like it. I prefer PNC, Busch, Miller, and GABP over Wrigley.Last edited by SlimKibbles; 07-08-2012, 08:23 PM.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: How Many Stadiums Have You Been To?
Went to Busch on Friday and sat at the very top of Busch Stadium, but right behind home plate. I tell you, it is one of the best seats in the place. Especially on those 100+ degree days. Lots of wind up there with your back facing a chain link fence. Not to mention there is a roof over your head for shade.
Since the seats are built on top of each other, you don't sit that far back at all. When sitting, you can't see the green seats underneath. You can also still see the ball.Comment

Went to Busch Stadium back in 2008 for a Phils/Cards game...one of my most enjoyable experiences at the ballpark ever. Great park, even better fans. I know it's cliche, but Cardinal fans know the game and are into. Just a lot of fun..."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I have a chance at Dodger Stadium this month and possibly the Angels stadium. Does anybody have any feedback?"Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman

Re: How Many Stadiums Have You Been To?
Added Fenway Park to my list a couple of weeks ago. Got seats in the left field upper deck, next to the Green Monster.
The game was delayed for about an hour due to rain, so I walked around the rest of the stadium checking everything out. Pretty awesome.

Actually they weren't too bad. I did like talking to the ones with whom I chatted it up. Really enjoyed both of my visits to Busch in 2007 and 2010. Great ballpark and city.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Re: How Many Stadiums Have You Been To?
From my observations, there are only two types of Cardinal fans that give people trouble.
1. The Drinkers
2. The ones who don't get it yet.
Luckily, there aren't too many of the "ones who don't get it" because they are taught very quickly. The drinkers aren't too bad either. They know they are drunk and who they are heckling. Many other teams fans are a lot worse. That statement comes with proof.
Of course, these are the people who are at the stadium and must be responsible for their actions. Once you get some of these guys and normal fans behind a computer though, jeez. Many of them post their opinions without thinking and it's ridiculous. But then again, there are probably more online "Cardinal" fans than there are fans who get to attend the games.Comment

Re: How Many Stadiums Have You Been To?
I have been to five stadiums, the old yankee stadium, the new yankee stadium, Camden Yards, Fenway Park, and Shea Stadium. I wish I will go to more in the future, but I have been busy in the past few years.Originally posted by Ken Griffey JrMe, I'm the little guy in the group. Re: How Many Stadiums Have You Been To?
I have been going to baseball games since I was five years old and these have been the major league stadiums I have been to since.
Candlestick Park
AT&T Park
Oakland Coliseum
Qualcomm Stadium
Metrodome
Kingdome
Camden Yards (Had the tickets but technically didn't go inside because the game was rained out)
Old Yankee Stadium
Fenway Park
Petco Park
Target Field
The next few stadiums I would want to go to sometime in the future would be Wrigley Field, Coors Field, Safeco Field, Great American Ball Park, Kauffman Stadium and Citzens Bank Park.Comment

Fenway
Tropicana
Oakland Coliseum (whatever the corporate sponsor is these days)
Angel Stadium
I was absolutely shocked when I found out the age of Angel Stadium when I went there a few years back, it is a very nice place.
