I believe thats the first loss Arizona has been handed since leading after the 8th inning, going back to last season

Johnny Venters is filthy. Dude looks like he should be painting a fence instead of throwing mid 90 sinkers and fall off the map sliders.

Venters is the truth. Lifetime lefties are hitting .166 against him. Righties don't fare a lot better though, they hit .200.

I think he's the most intimidating left hander in the game.

Resting the best hitting catcher in baseball for the 2nd time in 4 games. Boesch, who finally started to hit this weekend, on the bench. He hits Raburn (.081) 6th and the best offensive shortstop in the AL, 7th.

He's an idiot. Gives away games all the time. Today is another one apparently.

It's a gorgeous day in Cleveland today and I got pretty shellacked last night so I just want to relax and watch baseball all day. My girl comes over a little while ago and is all like, "It's such a nice day out today, let's go for a hike or a nature walk or something." I tell her I'm not feeling too hot and that I just want to relax and watch Matt Moore pitch today. She then goes on a rant about typical BS that most women do (usually not her though) and ends it with, "I'm so sick of watching you waste perfectly good days away in the spring and summer watching baseball. It's like a drug to you or something."

I then say to her, "Well, you're the one who bought me MLB.TV as a gift last year and got me hooked so I guess that makes you my dealer."

Then she hit me with, "Quit joking around, I want to go to the botanical gardens, the arboretum, etc. etc. you need to make a choice today. It's either me or baseball."

My response?

"Honey, can you pass me my remote? The Rays game starts in an hour."
