Craig Gentry has had a terrible game. Meanwhile, the Rangers offense is still gone.

I am so glad Kinsler is locked up. He's been extremely consistent for the past 3 or 4 years.

EDIT: And it's official. Today I'm wearing my Michael Young shirt.

And Fowler's at bat just now is exactly why he will not be a leadoff hitter. 2 pitch at-bat, both swinging.

Games like today are why no team goes undefeated or winless in baseball. Cubs had 4 weakly hit balls find holes for hits to go along with 2 hard hit base hits.

They plate 6 in the 3rd inning, nearly batting around.

Joe Mauer tied his career high for home runs in a season at Target Field earlier (1), and now the Twins have the tying runs in scoring position with no outs in the 7th.

              What is going on here?

EDIT: They tie it on a sac fly and an infield hit. If that isn't Twins baseball, I don't know what is.

I was going to say, what the **** happened to Greinke? He should be mowing through this lineup.

Then I saw that every scoring play was a single...

The Angels blew a 6-0 lead against the Twins. And if Downs is injured, the Angels bullpen is going to be screwed.

Pathetic effort today. Oh well, at least they didn't get swept.

Four game set @ Boston is next so it's not going to get easier.

Can't help but notice that sub-.200 average of Pujols's, even early in the season. 0-4 today.

                              I know, I know.

Everyone was on his case about his slow start last season too and he ended up .299/.366/.541... all of which were career lows but still extremely good numbers. He was pretty beat up last year and still managed to hit 37 bombs in less than 150 games too.

And in another flash of Twins baseball, the bullpen immediately lets the Angels regain the lead. It was pretty creative because the Angels had a guy on first with two outs. Brian Duensing decided that they should have that runner in scoring position before giving up a single, so he threw a wild pitch.
