      Thats going to be a tuff one for the phillies. Since Stewart's with the twins and is a free agent this year.

            I know it's a stretch but here's my reasoning. The Cubs need a catcher that can put up numbers. Myers did that last year. Myers is also a pretty darn good signal caller and would be a calming influence for the young(ish) Cubs pitchers.

            The Blue Jays have a glut of OFers that are basically ready to hit the majors and the Cubs have an aging OF apart from Corey Patterson.

            I would settle for Juan Cruz tho.

            The reasoning for the proposal is that the Cubs want to win and that window of opportunity is gonna close soon so might as well put all your eggs in one basket.
