Great to see Marshall get the save and the Reds actually win a series for once!

Actually, I still am. But I'm not going to waste my time typing it out again if you're just going to ignore it. I've explained myself enough times to get the message across.
Anyways, back on topic, what's more "devastating", the "phantom strike" from yesterday or a score coming in off a foul ball that would have most likely would have come in anyways.Boston Red Sox

And your logic has always proven so sound. Just because I cheer for multiple teams means I'm not allowed to have an opinion on a call that others see differently? That truly makes a lot of sense.Boston Red Sox

Trying to say Human Error is what makes sports exciting, because it benefits your team makes almost as much sense as the logic that the umpire error today was ok, because they missed a ball/strike call yesterday.Comment

IMO bad calls make sports worse to watch. I understand it's always going to happen, but I don't like to see bad calls made, especially when they play a big part in the outcome of the game. Whether it's in my teams favor or not, I don't like seeing bad calls, especially ones as obvious as today's.Comment

I don't have much faith in Morrow keeping the ball in the yard as he's been giving up the long ball but perhaps pitching at the K will keep the ball in play rather than in the stands.
The Jays have lost the services of Sergio Santos with inflammation in his arm so Cordero is going to be the closer until Santos is healthy again. It looks like AA was right to bring in a quality veteran closer to the squad this offseason.Last edited by SPTO; 04-22-2012, 05:07 PM.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Ask Cardinal fans about the 1985 World Series. See if they think blown calls are what makes sports exciting.Comment
