I can't believe that Jon Daniels can't find anyone better than Brandon Snyder as a bench bat.

I'm probably alone on this: On various teams I feel like some left-fielders should be playing in center-field.... Carlos Gonzalez, Josh Hamilton [the Rangers shuffle him between LF and CF, I feel he should be a staple in CF]

Just players such a those two that I feel should always be playing in CF, it gets under my skin at times.

Dayton Moore on Billy Butler on KC radio today: "Billy’s getting his hits, but he needs to get them with runners in scoring position”

Billy Butler line with RISP in 2012: .462/.500/.615

Billy's real problem is that he doesn't smile like Frenchy does.

Oh yeah, and how can a professional making millions of dollar not have the foggiest idea how his own players are actually performing?

Craig Gentry is a better defensive CF than Josh Hamilton.

Nice hustle Starlin! Let's get a run out of this...

And Soriano gets the sac fly to get the Cubs on the board in the 1st.

Immediately followed by too much hustle from Starlin as he's picked off to end the inning.

Ooooo, a three run A-bomb from Alexander the great pushes the Yankees out a little further to a 6-1 lead. That's Alex's 287th homer as a Yankee and ties Bernie Williams on the All-Time list at #6.

                13-4 after this game?

                I'll take it.

                  Good Lord.

If you're going to sit in that area of Wrigley Field, don't reach for a foul ball.

                  Ever.

Cards tie the game on a groundout just after.

Brewers finally putting some good wood on the ball. 4-1 in the 4th.

Of course, it's against the Astros, so take that for what's it's worth.

Ok, Phillies. Now I'm really beginning to get aggravated. Get your act together before it's too late.

That's pretty funny whereas before the Jays game they were talking about Jose Bautista and had a little interview with him where he said batting average is the most overrated stat in the game. The other thing is they pointed out that while Bautista's overall average is poor right now his RISP is quite good and his OPS while not great is still decent at worst considering his struggles.

Yeah that was a weird sight to see, Buck and Pat then said that Yost needed to follow that up with a hit and run which I believe they did.

Anywho, good game for the Jays. It was nice to see Bautista hit one out though he's still struggling with his timing as his body wasn't quite lined up properly but he got enough on that ball to get it out. Morrow was pretty good too and got out of some jams. Kelly Johnson will probably lead this team in strikeouts as a hitter but man does he have some power to his bat as well as being a very good defensive 2B as was seen by scooping the ball up off of his glove and flipping over to 1st for an inning ending out.

                            On to Baltimore!

Konerko is one HR away from 400. Hopefully he gets it tonight. One of the most underappreicated guys in baseball.
