And the Rays win the series against the Rangers in Texas and have now won 7 of their last 8.

They have a 4 game series against the Mariners and a 3 game series against the A's this week. All at home.

Marlins already down 5-0, funny enough none of this terribleness is due to Jose/Hanley play in the field. Although they need to be more consistent at the plate, along with everyone not named Omar/LoMo.

I stand corrected, Kearns and Jose just let one drop in that should have been caught. Something you see only as a kid....

At the plate, I agree...but his defense is subpar.

I think it was the 2nd or 3rd inning with a man on 1st that a comebacker up the middle hit the side of the mound but Tyler went straight to the bag instead of the quickest path to the ball and it obviously got past his diving glove.

Average arm, below-average range...but can foul off a ton of pitches. I like the bat but want to more of the supposed wheels he had in the minors as well as an improved glove more before I see him as long term.

I agree with you on his arm, but disagree with his fielding. He's not winning a gold glove any time soon or start making Brandon Phillips type plays, but he can hold his own, and he'll pick up some better techniques with time
