Giants next season. Reports in the bay area are the Giants will offer him a 2 year deal worth between 22-25 million. He is reportedly asking for 13-15 mill a year. but the catch is the Giants drop bonds contract in 2 years and the giants are then willing to break the bank for vlad once bonds is gone. cause barry is either gonna retire or go to the american league and dh. if your a giants fan, this sounds good. if your an opposing pitcher, feel bad for ya. vlad and barry in the same lineup? that should be against the law. but we'll see. its all talk now.

That's the place I've been saying all along that Vlad will go to because of the Felipe Alou connection. Vlad also has the opportunity to play with Bonds and i'm thinking he'd be the clean up guy. If you think Vlad's numbers are great now then they'll be ASTRONOMICAL in San Fran because of having Bonds ahead of him.
This will also give Bonds a 2 year window of opporunity to break the HR record and win the World Series with the team he WANTS to accomplish those feats with.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
