Marmol is a whole crap load of bad money. My co-worker was listening to the game and told me they were up 3-0 with Marmol coming in to close. I just said uh-oh. Read that book cover to cover too many times.

Why is Marmol constantly depended on? Seems like he continues to come up with failing yet they trot him back out there to walk people. It cant be any worse for the team to try someone else?

Yeah it will probably be made up when the Cubs come back to Cincinnati in August since that is the only time they will be back.

The Orioles have the 5th best ERA in the majors with a 2.94.

The Orioles have hit the third most homeruns in the league

I think the HRs will taper off, as for the ERA I think that'll increase at some point because most of their pitchers are guys that put the ball in play and well....the defense in Baltimore is not that great.

Still, it's nice to see the O's have some success and hopefully it's sustainable. That market has been starved for some good baseball for YEARS.
