Re: Game Discussion Thread: 4/30 - 5/6
Felix Hernandez is really good, but he was quite the lucky SOB right there.
Carlos Pena just rocketed a fastball into the right-center field gap with Zobrist on first. Zobrist took off on contact and had already crossed the plate when the ball bounced over the wall for a ground-rule double.
Making matters worse is that Longoria injured himself earlier in the game so with two outs and Pena on 2nd and Zobrist on 3rd, he got to pitch to Elliot ****ing Johnson instead of Longo. Ugh!Comment

Re: Game Discussion Thread: 4/30 - 5/6
He sure was, I kept screaming at the TV though as the Jays just let him throw the first pitch down Broadway (well for a Toronto reference, down Yonge Street) but other than that he's spectacular. I love how he has the confidence to throw any pitch in any count.
Other than that aspect of the game I have to say Kyle Drabek is showing the stuff that the Blue Jays coveted from him when they traded for him. The kid has a real good arsenal of pitches and I think by this time next year he should have everything rounded to form and have command of every one of those pitches of his.
He must feel real frustrated as this was the 2nd game in a row where he's deserved a win but gets the L.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
