Great outing by Jerome Williams tonight. I miss not seeing him in a Giants uni wearing the Puka shells. I know it was the Twins, but still lol.

Scioscia has to put Pujols down in the lineup a bit. I know what he has the potential of doing, but it's been a month now. Let him earn his stride hitting 6th or so, maybe get "sandbagged" a little and get a couple of more RBI chances when he can get them, even on ground outs. Any number increases will help him at this point, and he won't be the cause of any team losses in the heart of the order all the meanwhile.

Great, now when I listen to KNBR tomorrow morning on my commute to work, I will hear nothing but an endless debate on whether instant replay in baseball should be expanded even further.

However, if I were Theriot, I'd call out to Meals and ask him to go home, check the replay, and then come back and apologize to him the next day. By the way, Meals is the same umpire who lent the Braves a win against the Pirates in 19 innings last year lol.

Well, I'm not blaming him for the Giants loss. I'm just making note of a bad call.

I just don't like umpires who seem to be so stubborn as to not ever admit that he made the wrong call. Tomorrow if Theriot was at SS and Meals umps at second, and Theriot says, "So... how about that call last night?" I bet Meals would get upset and eject him.

At least this is why I can forgive Joyce.

Just when I thought the Twins were bad enough, Drew Butera gets the call...

I like how the headline has to point out that it's for "catching flexibility". Yes, because at the height of the Twins problems is finding a guy who can catch a game between Mauer and Doumit. For ****'s sake.

He is in full on troll-the-Twins mode since he moved there. Ridiculous stats against us. But at least we have this:

Well, the toughest part of the week is over for the Rays. No excuses to lose more than one more game this week.

I would have been ecstatic with a series split, now I'm just going to be happy if the M's finally score somehow other than a solo shot. In their last 4 games (0-4), they have 34 hits, not a single one has come with a man on.

And they get to face Shields tonight.
